You are invited to the public film screening and awards ceremony of REMOTE: Waiheke Youth Film Festival
Applicants have been briefed to creatively tell their story of being in lockdown, during COVID19 through the medium of a short film. Local filmmakers Baz Caitcheon, Mark Lapwood, and Baraka Bee will be assessing the films on inventive ideas that inspire, question and reflect the lockdown environment.
We may witness a mysterious incident, an unexpected highlight, a life changing moment or perceptions of the future…
Prizes will be awarded on the evening (see below)
First Prize: $400
Second Place: $250
Third Place: $100
**Only 75 tickets on sale, until level 1 is announced
