Waiheke Island’s unique micro-brewery, nestled amongst the vines at Wild on Waiheke is must visit venue whilst on Waiheke Island originally named Baroona after the iconic Baroona ferry. The Waiheke Island Brewery features a range of craft beers including a pale ale, wheat, dark and malt beer as well as our famous non-alcoholic Ginger Beer and new alcoholic cider, all made on site by our Brewer, Alan Knight.
Our cafe menu gives recomended beer matches to most dishes for example our Onetangi Dark beers goes perfectly wiht our local Te matuku Bay Oysters. Try our “Drunken Oyster” recommended by our brewer – add a local oyster to your dark beer, drink the beer and then enjoy the amazing flavour of the oyster at the end!
Our cafe specialises in delicious platters, gourmet pizzas & burgers, flatbreads and salads. We our proud to use fresh local ingredients where possible including local Te Matuku Bay Oysters and Ringawera breads and lavosh. All our pizza bases and burgers are made fresh daily and our burger buns and breads are made fresh locally. Check out our daily specials board for vegetarian options and other speciality dishes. We offer a gluten free option for all our pizzas and burgers.
We also have a kids menu and divine dessert choices. Come and relax on the deck with a glass of beer and wine and enjoy the fabulous food while the kids have fun in the playground.

Our vineyard at Wild on Waiheke is called Topknot Hill. Our wines are made from 100% Waiheke grapes and are available for tasting or by the glass/bottle in our cafe & bar.
